EARTH SUMMIT 2002 - RIO EARTH SUMMIT + 10
The first Earth Summit was held in Rio in 1992. People from all around the world met to talk about the environment, sustainable development and how changes could be made to help protect our planet.
In September 2002 the second Earth Summit will be held in Johannesburg in South Africa. It is also being called Rio plus 10 because it is being held 10 years after the first summit. People from all around the world will meet up again to talk about the changes that have taken place and to look at setting further targets.
Can you design a logo for the earth Summit 2002. A logo is another word for
a trademark or an emblem - when people see the logo it should make them immediately
think about the Earth Summit.
