SUSSED uses gems from the Gallery Oldham's huge collections
to show how our lives impact on each other and the world.
The artworks in SUSSED have been arranged so that each one is linked thematically
to its adjacent artwork.
Accompanying each artwork is information about the issues raised by the artwork,
artist biographies and stories specially written for each artwork.
We live in a constantly changing world. Inside our homes, around our towns
and villages, the countryside, oceans and skies - nothing stays the same.
We can all help to influence these changes.
Every act we make affects either someone else or something else -
the ways we choose to eat, shop, travel, work, dress or make a stand for something
we believe in. These can all have an affect on the well being of our future.
SUSSED is the creation of Gallery Oldham's Billie Tilley, Lee
Avision and Bruce Langridge.
The website and interactive installation were created by STARDOTSTAR
(Gez O'Brien and Gareth Langley) and Maria
Stukoff.
Colin Brown, Oldham Literature Development Officer, wrote the stories.
